Common questions
If your question is not covered here, send it through the form above or call us.
How long does a typical AI software project take?
Most projects run between 8 and 14 weeks from kickoff to production deployment. The two-week discovery sprint is included in that timeline. Larger projects with multiple models or integrations can take up to 20 weeks, but we break them into phases so you see working output early.
Do we need to prepare our data before you start?
Not necessarily. Part of the discovery sprint is a data audit where we assess what you have, where it lives, and how clean it is. If significant cleaning is needed, we handle it as part of the project. We will tell you upfront if data quality issues will affect the timeline or budget.
What happens after the project is delivered?
We offer a support and retraining agreement that covers bug fixes, model retraining (quarterly or on-demand), and minor feature changes. The agreement is optional, but about 90% of our clients choose it because AI models need periodic updates as their data evolves.
Where is our data stored?
All data stays on Canadian servers. We use cloud infrastructure hosted in Montreal and Toronto data centres. If your industry requires on-premise storage, we can deploy to your own servers instead.
Can you work with our existing IT team?
Yes, and we prefer it. Your IT team knows your infrastructure better than we ever will. We collaborate through shared repositories, regular stand-ups, and documentation that your developers can maintain after handoff.
What to expect after you reach out
Once you submit the form or call us, here is what happens next. We keep the process simple because we know you are busy running your business.
Within one business day, one of our project leads will reply with a few clarifying questions about your situation. We want to understand the problem you are trying to solve, the data you have available, and any constraints around budget or timeline.
If there is a good fit, we schedule a 30-minute video call. During that call we will walk through a rough scope together. You will leave with a clear idea of whether AI is the right approach for your problem, what it would cost approximately, and how long it would take. There is no charge for this conversation and no obligation to proceed.
If you decide to move forward, we send a formal proposal within five business days. The proposal includes a fixed price for the discovery sprint and a range estimate for the full project. We do not start billing until you sign.
